What do we do?

As a registered charity we are run by an elected committee of volunteer parents and members of the community.

The committee works as a team with the preschool staff to ensure its continued success.

Without a committee of trustees to manage it, the Preschool would cease to exist. This is a wonderful opportunity to ensure we give the children the very best we can offer. If you’d like to become involved in any way, just let us know.

We depend on fundraising events to raise money to buy equipment and ensure our fees stay as low as possible. Even if you don’t become a member of the committee, you still have plenty to offer the preschool by baking cakes to sell, helping on stalls, supporting our events or donating prizes for raffles. Just keep a look out for requests for your help from time-to-time.

We also work with recommended community based initiative such as Sainsbury’s Active Kids, Tesco Equipment for Schools Vouchers schemes.

The Parent Management Committee’s current aim is to work with the local Parish Council and Hall Committee to provide improved facilities and a dedicated pre-school building within the Memorial Hall grounds.  This is our biggest and most ambitious project to date.  We readily welcome support from all corners of the community, especially business links.
