Here at Impstones & Cherry Trees we have a dedicated and caring team to guide your child(ren) through the first part of their learning journey.
All the team members are Paediatric First Aid qualified (which includes Epilepsy and Epipen Training) and have a minimum of Safeguarding Level 3.
We are also working towards being a Communication Friendly setting, having undertaken training in Makaton and use of Visual Aids.
AMANDA DAVIES
MANAGER
Lead Safeguarding Officer (LV 4)
Lead SENCO
Family Liaison
Hi, I'm Amanda and I've been working at Impstones since February 2008 and have been the Manager since December 2012.
I have lived in Tadley for most of my life and am married with 2 children, with one in Uni and the other in college!! They both attended Impstones, which is how I began working here:)
I have a great passion for educating children and feel this early stage of their development plays a vital role in how they will grow throughout their school life and then on in to adulthood.
I look forward to working with your child(ren) and your family to help you with the transition of separation and then on to 'big school' life!!
VICKIE JONES
Deputy Manager
Speech & Language Lead
Hi, my name is Vickie. I live in Baughurst with my husband and four boys!
I started working at Impstone in October 2014 and I am thoroughly enjoying my days at the preschool. Previously I was a paediatric nurse on the Special Care Baby Unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital which I thoroughly enjoyed, however, I left to focus on my family.
I take great pride in working as part of a team and helping, along with the other team members, to give your child(ren) a positive, secure, fun and safe environment to help their future learning.
I am excited to be working with your family and I am always available if you need to discuss anything.

SAMANTHA KUFLIK
Senior Practitioner
Safeguarding Deputy
Hello, I am Sam & I recently joined the Impstone Team for a second time…I can’t keep away!! Impstone Preschool has been close to my heart since my son, Charlie joined in 2012. I felt so comfortable, supported & impressed I wanted to part of it, so I began volunteering before joining the Parent Management Committee first as Secretary & then as Chairperson before finally leaving the committee to become a trainee practitioner whilst I studied for my Early Years qualification, Which I was successful in achieving.
I left in 2018 to spend time with my family, manage home projects & then embark on a new role as a Personal Assistant. However, I have a passion for Early Years education & feel strongly about children being nurtured at this time, both within the home & in a preschool setting. So, when a Practitioner role came up, I didn’t hesitate to apply & here I am!
I am local, having been brought up in Pamber Heath, educated locally & so are my children; both having attended Impstone Preschool (as it was then). I spend a lot of my time driving my children to various clubs, walking my dog, reading & seeing my lovely friends.
I believe in the ethos of Impstone & Cherry Trees Preschool; your child(ren) are cherished, educated, encouraged, safe & supported when they come here & I feel proud to be part of the Team once again.
I am looking forward to meeting you & your child(ren).
EMMA NICHOLSON
Senior Practitioner
Hi my name is Emma and I live in Tadley, where I grew up, with my husband and four
gorgeous, crazy children.
Before Impstone I did my degree in politics (and a bit of psychology) at Cardiff University, while also taking part in a
student tutoring programme at a junior school.
I have also taken various courses such as child nutrition and health, educational psychology, understanding behaviour in
0-5 year olds and makaton. Currently I am just finishing my level 2 in mental health in children and young people.
I bring textbook knowledge, real life experience, and a passion for learning through play to nurture confident,
resilient, curious minds and a solid foundation for good education.
We work closely with local schools and colleges, which means at times we will have Student Practitioners within the setting. All of whom will be assessed for suitability and a dedicated mentor will be with them at all times during their assignment to our setting.
Our belief in learning doesn't stop as soon as a child moves on to 'big school'!
We truly believe learning is for life and we actively encourage all those that would like to learn in whatever way we can, no matter what their age!
